I stayed at the Oberoi for 5 nights, and had a premium room facing the golf course. Hotel is has a good location, close to khan market, india gate, etc. It's a small hotel with about 400 rooms in a single building. Although it is in a busy area, it is easy to forget that because the road view is shielded, the hotel has a big area and the other side has a lot of greenery. Room was larger than average with a king sized bed, sitting area, desk. There is a separate walk-in closet with a lot of storage space. The bathroom was quite big with 2 wash basins, stall shower, bath tub, toilet and a small desk with a mirror. The room had a TV, tablet with controls for the lights & blinds. The electrical outlets are rather limited, and the sockets at the desk are inside a cavity which makes it hard to plug in a larger adapter. I had to ask for an extension cord. There was good selection of tea/coffee with an espresso machine. There was a small refrigerator stocked with drinks, snacks similar to other hotels. Services (housekeeping, in-room dining) are great. They provided good padded slippers, bathrobes and another dressing robe. Basically, everything one would expect from a 5-star hotel and Oberoi brand - the only unexpected thing was that the wifi was slow (with a speed under 10mbps). The bathroom was somewhat under-stocked - there was only a brush, paste, earbuds and moisturizer. My room rate included breakfast, which was excellent. There are some good restaurants in the hotel.

Still waiting on a refund after cancelling 10wks ago. All you get from this hotel is very UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE & Now not replying to emails. This is a substantial amount of money. Their Customer Service is Zero. No doubt I will not receive a reply . But the word of mouth is mightier than the sword.

For those new to Delhi, as we were, Delhi can flood your senses. Sights, sounds, smells, and with time tastes, feeling, and feelings. We weren’t sure what to expect arriving at Indira Ghandi Airport at 0200. What we found was a pristine, modern airport, and after passport control/customs, it was two members of the airport team with sign in hand to greet us. From this moment through check out, and being dropped again at the airport, we received of some of the best, most extraordinary service, we’ve ever had. Graded on a sliding scale, and this is measured against other 5 Star/5 Diamond luxury hotels we’ve stayed at around the world. Hands down, the staff truly endeavored to make our stay both comfortable and flawless. There are so many staff members we encountered who demonstrated over the top service, which felt genuine, and from the heart. To call out any single one of them would mean we would likely miss someone as deserving. For us it was like being transported to a different world. Security which pops to attention and salutes you, to a personal representative who walks you to your room for checkin. The room attendant who notices your eyeglasses while cleaning the room, and leaves a spectacle case and personal not. Concierges who are knowledgeable and helpful. A driver in full uniform and cap who takes you wherever you want to go. The door staff who are attentive and look the part. All of this adds to the mystique and feeling you are welcome in Dehli. We took breakfast, and few other meals in their main restaurant. We found the selection plentiful, the taste magnificent, and the service well done. And the best Chai masala we’ve ever had. The rooms are well appointed, and fully controlled through an iPad. Unlike many hotels, it was intuitive and the controlled what you want controlled. Suman was our chauffeur for the entire stay in all the trips in Delhi and The Oberoi sister property in Agra was extremely professional, caring, attentive and one of the most amazing human beings I encounter in my lifetime so needless to say we are extremely thankful we cross paths and we will him He had the car ready every single time with water and candy. For our trip to Agra the team had a lunch Needless to say i Highly recommend.
